In a remarkable act of generosity and solidarity, the Société des Ciments de Gabès provided free medical eyeglasses to a group of underprivileged students at El Gouanda School on January 20, 2025. This noble gesture marked the culmination of a health campaign organized by the company in partnership with the Regional Health Directorate of Gabès, specifically the Ophthalmology Department of Gabès University Hospital, on October 22, 2024.
This initiative reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to support the local community and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations. By providing these eyeglasses, the Gabès Cement Company not only brought smiles to the faces of these children but also contributed to enhancing their academic performance by enabling them to see clearly and learn effectively.
